Personal data we process

Healthcare Hub processes your personal data because you use our services and or because you provide them to us.

• place of birth

• telephone number

All data that may be relevant for safe travel are important during the intake and are recorded in your personal medical file. Certain personal data are also required for invoicing.

Special and or sensitive personal data

Healthcare Hub processes the following special and or sensitive personal data:
• racial or ethnic origin
• data concerning sex life
• health data
• data of persons under 16 years of age
• citizen service number
• biometric data
• genetic data

Our website and or services are not intended to collect data from visitors under 16 years of age without parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify the age of visitors. Parents are advised to be involved in their children’s online activities. If you believe that we have collected personal data of a minor without consent, please contact us at info@healthcarehub.nl and we will delete the information.
The citizen service number is used to prevent duplicate records. By law, medical records must be retained for a minimum period of 15 years.

Purpose and legal basis for processing

Healthcare Hub processes personal data for the following purposes:
• providing personalised travel advice and medical services
• contacting you by telephone or email if necessary to perform our services
• informing you about changes to our services and products
• sending invoices and handling payments

Processing is based on the performance of an agreement, legal obligations and, where applicable, your consent.

Retention period

Healthcare Hub does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. Medical data are retained for 20 years unless a longer statutory retention period applies.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Healthcare Hub does not sell your personal data to third parties.
We only share data if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
Where third parties process data on our behalf, we conclude data processing agreements to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality. Healthcare Hub remains responsible for this processing.

Healthcare Hub does not use cookies or similar technologies.

Access, correction and deletion

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data.
You also have the right to withdraw consent, object to processing or request data portability. This means you may request that we transfer your personal data to you or to another organisation designated by you.
